The PhD School in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering is organizing the XII edition of the PhD Poster Day for all PhD students of the 37th, 38th, and 39th cycles. The main objective of the event is to evaluate the students' activities during 2024 and assess their admission to the next year (cycles 38, 39) or the final PhD defense (cycle 37). Participation is mandatory for all PhD students. The detailed program is available on posterday-eece.polito.it.
Each student’s advisor must select a board of three designated reviewers, chosen from Politecnico professors or researchers from public research institutions/universities (no industry researchers). These reviewers will interact with the student in person during the event. The advisor is responsible for notifying the reviewers and ensuring their agreement to participate in person. Additionally, any Politecnico professor can evaluate a student during the event.
For students unable to attend in person due to justified reasons (e.g., mobility, maternity), they must arrange an online discussion with their designated reviewers between 14-27 September. The discussion can be conducted as individual or joint calls, using remote conferencing software.
The poster will be printed by the student's department of affiliation. Note that the LAIB plotter service will not be available.
